Wardiso Terms of Service
In order to to keep things simple and easy to understand, we will try to avoid using a lot of legal jargon and wording in this Terms of Service (TOS) agreement. Unfortunately some people like to exploit loopholes and use the wording in a contractual agreement to skirt around ambiguous rules, engage in hinky activity or get people in trouble. Therefore we must unfortunately and ominously state that, when it comes to matters of rules and policies, the final word rests with the owners and administrators of Wardiso.net and its subsidiaries even if not explicitly stated in the TOS. If we feel you are violating the spirit of Wardiso's TOS, we reserve the right to restrict your access at any time. By using Wardiso's services you are agreeing to follow the rules of this TOS. There are no exceptions to this rule. It doesn't matter if you're the Pope, the President or the Fonz.
General
- You agree to be bound by the TOS and other rules by using this site.
- Violations we believe are against the spirit of the rules will result in warnings, suspensions or bans.
- Some content of hosted or linked websites may be meant for people age 18 and above. It is the responsibility of the parent of the child alone to ensure the child's safety and wellbeing from this content. It is not our responsibility to censor this information.
- If you are ever in doubt about the rules, ask.
- Access is not guaranteed. Downtime, while rare, is always a possibility. If this happens we can only apologize for the inconvenience and nothing more.
- We cannot be held responsible for damages to you, your life or livelihood from use of the site or interaction with its users.
- This site may only be used for lawful purposes.
- While we believe in freedom of speech, you are not allowed to post material that violates the rights of any person or entity, is threatening, obscene, or defamatory. Opinions and reviews are fine. Slander and libel are not.
- Submissions to the comic index must be kept to a G-PG rating. Anything considered obscene or pornographic will be removed.
Privacy and Security
- We promise never to share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
- Server and website logs may be recorded for security purposes.
- This site uses cookies.
- We cannot guarantee or be held responsible for the confidentiality of any information you choose to reveal to other users on the site.
- Do not share your account with anyone else. You are responsible for their actions if you do. If you discover your account has been broken into, report it immediately.
- Administrators will never ask you for your password. If someone does, report them.
Hosted Sites
- Any content hosted on our servers meant for adult-only audiences must be preceeded by an applicable warning.
- Because of hassles with federal law requirements, absolutely no photographic content of a mature nature is allowed to be stored on our servers.
- Do not, under any circumstances, use any code to send out mass mails. We have mailing lists upon request for this purpose or you may choose to use Google Groups.
- Do not use any code that may tax or crash the servers or jeopardize the security and uptime of the website as a whole.
- Advertising on one's own site is allowed. We do NOT allow any advertisements in the form of pop-ups or flashing material, that violate security by means of attempting to install applications on a user's computer, or invade a user's privacy.
- You may not impose personal site policies that violate or attempt to bypass Wardiso's TOS.
- You are responsible for maintaining a proper backup of your website.
We really are nice people. We simply ask that you please don't try to game or test the system. And don't be an asshole.
